Vista changes resolution after sleep

The only way I can currently get round it is to enable 'password on wakeup' in advanced power options. Though I dont have an account password, it keeps the resolution the same, so I have to click on my account pic when resume from sleep or hibernate. Please help! Thanks in advance, Ghost DaveA David.

I have upgraded graphic drivers with latest version, tried to adjust the "Simulated" related keys but no success. Any Clue? Usually this will be caused by the graphics driver not properly supporting sleep modes and therefore disabling the ability to detect a connected display when the computer goes to sleep.

After logging in after sleep mode the screen resolution appears high. The metro desktop contains twice the tiles, and applications are higher resolution, content on web pages for example is tiny. A reboot sorts it.
